Assistant Pastor of Open Door Presbyterian Church (Herndon, VA)
Pastor John Cha (or “PJ”) is currently serving as the pastor of congregational care and inter-generational ministries of the English-speaking Congregation (EC) of Open Door Presbyterian Church in Herndon, VA. Growing up as a native Virginian, PJ graduated from the University of Virginia and then from Regent College in British Columbia. He quickly returned back to Virginia to the two loves of his life, his home church – ODPC – and his (back then) soon-to-be wife, Leanne. Both Leanne and John are now enjoying their 22nd year of marriage and their 22nd year of ministry at Open Door. They both also are having the time of their lives raising and “launching out” their three kids David (20), Noah (18) and Hannah (16). John’s hobbies include long drives, yard work, good movies, eating out with the staff, and going out on walks/date nights with Leanne.
