- What makes you ask yourself, Does God care? How might these verses help you shape an answer?
- How would you complete the sentence, If only God would come and give _ to me? The truth is that whatever you fill in the blank is your counterfeit god.
- What changed perspective would you have on your “if onlys,” and what peace might you experience, if you knew that God had already dealt with your ultimate problem?
- How does this section make you more excited as you look ahead to next Christmas?!
- Do you tend to over-focus on Jesus as humble and weak, or as powerful and strong? What difference does this make to your life when you sin… when things go wrong… when you need help?
- “If you’re on his back, he will carry you.” How is that going to transform your day? Do you need to share this great truth with a struggling brother or sister?
