Earlier this year, as we journeyed through the book of Isaiah during the Easter season, we discovered how God promised and prepared His people for the coming Savior King, whose promises were ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ. As we conclude 2026, we will turn to the Gospel of John to discover more deeply who Jesus is and what it means to follow Him.
Through the seven “I AM” statements, Jesus reveals not only His divine identity but also His relationship with those who believe in Him. He is the One who satisfies our deepest hunger, leads us out of darkness, cares for us as our Shepherd, gives us eternal life, and calls us to abide in Him.
Through this series, we hope to grow in knowing Jesus more personally, trusting Him more fully, and learning what it means to walk with Him and live for Him faithfully in our everyday lives.
