MONTHLY FOOD DRIVE

We strongly believe in the mandate to reach the world with God’s love. Pilgrim Community Church is a non-profit organization that seeks to show the world the grace and mercy of God.

And as part of our initiative to reach the world, Pilgrim Youth, the student body of our congregation, go out to the city of DC and hand out food packets on a monthly basis to express compassion as Christ first taught us.

More specifically, students gather on the last Saturday of the month to create food bags to serve the needs of the homeless. The desire of the ministry is that one day that it will no longer be needed. But where there is a need and want, our dedication is to reach the poor and the hungry.

CONNECTING WITH THE COMMUNITY

Along side our younger brothers and sisters in Christ. Chara Community, the EM congregation of Pilgrim Community Church, create care packages every other month to spread the love of God into our communities. This includes fundraising and working with established organizations like Bailey’s Shelter to provide for those in need.
